There are over 150 highly professional trade newspapers in Japan. Only very few of them publish in English. We work to make information accessible that has never been before available to an international audience.

We have launched our Network in partnership with our first newspaper, the Japan Rubber Weekly, on October 27, 2015. This is the first time that a newspaper covering the Japanese rubber, tire and plastics industries publishes in English. Check out www.japanrubberweekly.com.

  • Returned to Japan tasked with spearheading LANXESS’ approach to major Japanese car manufacturers as part of the company’s Global Automotive OEM Initiative.

Built up corporate communications function in Japan following the company’s spin off from Bayer.


  • Managed the first visit of LANXESS’ global CEO to Japan as project leader, incl. overall organization, press conference, stakeholder and employee events. Led around 30 staff members delegated to the project.
  • Managed LANXESS’ participation in the “Chemistry. Elements of Life.” road show-event initiated by the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Japan. LANXESS presented the German chemical industry at three reputed Japanese universities together with other major German chemical companies.
